Shannon Smith’s inspiring story has been chronicled on many news outlets and newspapers. WGRZ has a video featuring Shannon Smith being interviewed at East Coast Orthotic & Prosthetic Corp.’s office in Buffalo, NY. What is not shown below is that Ms. Smith was being honored by local politicians, including Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown who proclaimed September 12th “Shannon Smith Day” in Buffalo. This is a tremendous honor but deserving for such a wonderful, outrageous person.
Ms. Smith has been working with our Clinical Director Christopher Berger, CPO, for months and we are honored and privileged to be working with a wonderful person like Ms. Smith on her pathway to recovery.
