Disability Pride NYC – 2nd Annual Parade

On Sunday, July 3rd, East Coast Orthotic & Prosthetic Corp. attended the Second Annual Disability Pride Parade from Union Square Park to Madison Square Park in New York City. Thousands of people arrived to show inclusion, awareness and visibility for disabilities ranging from mental illness, paraplegics to many levels of amputation. After the parade, there were many festivities and giveaways for the community. East Coast O&P was proud to help bring awareness to people experiencing disabilities in NYC and also happy to demonstrate to patients of East Coast O&P that having a disability is a state of mind. East Coast O&P looks forward to continuing the tradition for the years to come.
